Azyar Ocean Lodge [esp – eng]

Como ya sabéis, en mi último viaje por Marruecos, me decidí a conocer una zona que recomiendo un montón. Es un área que está bastante apartada de los circuitos turísticos más habituales y que merece la pena visitar.

En esa zona, escogí alojarme en Azalaï Beach Cottage y Azyar Ocean Lodge. Del Beach Cottage de Azalaï, podéis ver mi post en detalle aquí. Azyar Ocean Lodge está recientemente inaugurado y aún no dispone de página web y tan solo le separa una distancia de 5 km aproximadamente desde el Beach Cottage.

A lo largo de este post os cuento qué os podéis encontrar si decidís alojaros en Azyar Ocean Lodge.

As you know, on my last trip to Morocco, I decided to visit an area that I highly recommend. It is an area that is quite off the beaten tourist track and worth visiting.

In that area, I chose to stay at Azalaï Beach Cottage and Azyar Ocean Lodge. About Azalaï Beach Cottage, you can see my post in detail here Azyar Ocean Lodge is recently opened and does not yet have a website and is only about 5 km away from the Beach Cottage.

Throughout this post I will tell you what you can find if you decide to stay at Azyar Ocean Lodge.

Este nuevo destino de playa se encuentra entre Oualidia y Safi, (a solo 35 km al sur de Oualidia en la carretera costera hacia Safi). Como ya he comentado, está a muy poca distancia que su hermano mayor, Azalaï Beach Cottage

Desde mi punto de vista, hay dos diferencias básicas entre las dos localizaciones:

Azalaï Beach Cottage diría que es algo más familiar que Azyar Ocean Lodge. Este último estaría más orientado a parejas o a personas viajando solas. También me parece que es un espacio perfecto para organizar eventos corporativos.

Azalaï Beach Cottage está a los pies de los acantilados de Cap Beddouza y sin embargo Azyar Ocean Lodge tiene vistas panorámicas al océano, aunque también dispone de escaleras y caminos para bajar a la playa.

La manager del espacio me estuvo contando todo lo que tienen previsto desarrollar aquí y realmente va a ser un complejo muy completo. Va a tener hasta parcelas para villas privadas en venta y bastantes áreas comunes que están en desarrollo, pero alejadas del concepto de complejo turístico standard. Es un lugar “muy maduro” y con mucha clase. Realmente marca la diferencia.

This new beach destination is located between Oualidia and Safi, (just 35 km south of Oualidia on the coastal road to Safi). As already mentioned, it is only a short distance from its big brother, Azalaï Beach Cottage.

From my point of view, there are two basic differences between the two locations:

Azalaï Beach Cottage I would say is somewhat more family friendly than Azyar Ocean Lodge. The latter would be more geared towards couples or people traveling alone. It also seems to me that it is a perfect space to organize corporate events.

Azalaï Beach Cottage is at the foot of the cliffs of Cap Beddouza and yet Azyar Ocean Lodge has panoramic ocean views, but also has stairs and paths down to the beach.

The manager of the space was telling me everything they plan to develop here and it is really going to be a very complete complex. It will even have plots for private villas for sale and quite a few common areas that are under development, but far from the standard resort concept. It’s a very “mature” and classy place. It really makes a difference.

Siguiendo el espíritu de todas las localizaciones de Azalaï Life Experience, Azyar Ocean Lodge se integra perfectamente en la naturaleza circundante y en la belleza salvaje de esta parte de la costa atlántica.

La propiedad está construida en las rocas de Cap Beddouza y se encuentra en medio de una naturaleza auténtica y preservada.

In the spirit of all Azalaï Life Experience locations, Azyar Ocean Lodge blends perfectly into the surrounding nature and the wild beauty of this part of the Atlantic coast.

The property is built on the rocks of Cap Beddouza and is located in the middle of an authentic and preserved nature.

The project has been carried out with local resources and materials, including stone, earth and recycled wood, respecting its imperfections to maintain a lively, raw and natural look.

Con una vista panorámica del Océano Atlántico, la propiedad ha sido diseñada por el arquitecto Younes Oualla y el diseñador Ludovic Petit como un pueblo que preserva la intimidad de sus huéspedes. Esta es una característica de todas las localizaciones de Azalaï Life Experience.

Dispone de 10 alojamientos, incluyendo 8 suites de 36 m² y 2 cabañas de 100 m²

With a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean, the property has been designed by architect Younes Oualla and designer Ludovic Petit as a village that preserves the privacy of its guests. This is a characteristic of all Azalaï Life Experience locations.

It has 10 accommodations, including 8 suites of 36 m² and 2 cottages of 100 m²

Azyar Ocean Lodge tiene un restaurante que ofrece cocina saludable y marina para el almuerzo y la cena, ya sea en su acogedora sala interior o en la terraza con vista de 180 grados.

Los platos se basan en pescados y mariscos frescos, verduras de productores locales y frutas de temporada, con opciones veganas, vegetarianas y sin gluten.

La terraza del restaurante es también el lugar ideal para disfrutar de un cóctel al atardecer, mientras se admira el reflejo del cielo en la piscina infinita.

Y qué decir de la luz de los atardeceres desde esta terraza. Es mágico.

En esta área podrás también desayunar, pero también puedes pedir que te suban el desayuno a tu habitación, tal y como hice yo.

Azyar Ocean Lodge has a restaurant offering healthy and marine cuisine for lunch and dinner, either in its cozy indoor dining room or on the terrace with 180-degree view.

Dishes are based on fresh seafood, vegetables from local producers and seasonal fruits, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.

The restaurant’s terrace is also the ideal place to enjoy a cocktail at sunset, while admiring the reflection of the sky in the infinity pool.

And what to say about the light of the sunsets from this terrace. It is magical.

In this area you can also have breakfast, but you can also ask for breakfast to be delivered to your room, as I did.

Azyar Ocean Lodge invita totalmente a la contemplación, la relajación y el ensueño: despertarse con una vista impresionante del océano desde la cama, caminar descalzo por la playa, disfrutar del sol en las dos impresionantes piscinas infinitas, dormir en las camas ubicadas en las rocas, admirar los magníficos atardeceres desde una hamaca, cenar alrededor de una fogata y dormir con el sonido de las olas.

Con tu pareja es perfecto, pero si vas solo, vuelves totalmente regenerado y con tu familia o amigos también puede ser una gran opción.

Azyar Ocean Lodge is a total invitation to contemplation, relaxation and reverie: wake up to a breathtaking view of the ocean from your bed, walk barefoot on the beach, enjoy the sun in the two stunning infinity pools, sleep on beds set on the rocks, admire the magnificent sunsets from a hammock, dine around a campfire and fall asleep to the sound of the waves.

With your partner it is perfect, but if you go alone, you come back totally regenerated and with your family or friends it can also be a great option.

Además de su respeto por el medio ambiente y su enfoque ecológico y solidario, Azyar Ocean Lodge apoya a los artesanos y productores locales en su boutique, donde ofrece una selección de artículos de moda, decoración y vajilla artesanales, como el vidrio soplado Kessy Beldi, libros, postales y productos frescos.

También emplea a gente local o a personas que llevan mucho tiempo trabajando en el grupo Azalaï y como en el caso del Beach Cottage, la atención del personal del espacio es absolutamente exquisita.

Si buscas un refugio ecológico y sostenible en la costa atlántica de Marruecos, Azyar Ocean Lodge es el lugar perfecto.

Azyar Ocean Lodge está abierto todo el año y requiere una estancia mínima de 2 noches en media pensión.

In addition to its respect for the environment and its ecological and supportive approach, Azyar Ocean Lodge supports local artisans and producers in its boutique, where it offers a selection of handcrafted fashion, decoration and tableware items, such as Kessy Beldi blown glass, books, postcards and fresh produce.

It also employs local people or people who have been working for the Azalaï group for a long time and, as in the case of the Beach Cottage, the attention of the staff is absolutely exquisite.
