The Origin of No Limit Ideas

No Limits, Just Ideas

The Origins of No Limit Ideas: A Personal Journey

Let me take a moment to share the story behind No Limit Ideas and how it has evolved over time.

For those who might not know, although I’ve shared bits of this journey on my Instagram, this project was born during the pandemic. Specifically, it started in late January 2021.

Back then, traveling was nearly impossible, and to make things worse, I was in a field (leisure, marketing, and events) that had been hit hard by lockdowns and restrictions.

So, how did I spend my time? Well, I was literally traveling from my couch.

During those days, I set myself a goal to post daily on Instagram, as I had chosen it as the main platform for growing the project. Facebook would simply mirror the content from Instagram.

At first, I didn’t follow any particular method or structure for the content. My inspiration came from everywhere—spontaneously and randomly. Every day, I wrote based on whatever ideas came to me in the moment, as I always say, guided by my daily inspiration.

Building Slowly with Purpose

As the Italians say, “Piano, piano, si arriva lontano” — slowly, slowly, you go far. This saying perfectly reflects the way No Limit Ideas has developed. While I knew from the start that I wanted to focus on offering something different, original, and unique when it comes to travel, I also wanted to make sure that the philosophy behind it remained authentic. I knew I wanted to prioritize local travel, ensuring that the experiences I shared were not overloaded with activities but rather focused on flexibility and authenticity. The idea was to create connections that were meaningful and simple, without unnecessary intermediaries.

The Beginning of No Limit Ideas: A Story of Curation and Passion

At the beginning of No Limit Ideas, I was clear that I wouldn’t initially be a content creator. (Especially during the pandemic – Now, as I write these lines in 2025, I am a content creator, but this journey started with curation at its core.) Instead, I decided to focus on curating content, particularly in terms of images and photography, which I’ve always seen as a powerful communication tool. I’ve previously written about the role of the “content curator” and its importance.

Once I had selected the right image, I would write posts based on personal experiences or conduct thorough research to create a story aligned with the daily theme I was working on. Sometimes, the texts were purely descriptive, but other times, they reflected deeper thoughts or emotions inspired by the images I had chosen. If you take a look at my Instagram account, you can see how my daily mood and inspiration shaped the posts and stories.

One thing I was certain about from the start was that my account would stand out by diving deeply into the images and videos I shared. I didn’t want to create just another travel account where locations often aren’t even mentioned, or where the posts offer only vague descriptions. I didn’t want to be another clone of everything else out there—I wanted something more authentic. Sometimes, I even loved to do photo journeys with carousel posts of up to ten photos (and honestly, I’d say more than 95% of my Instagram posts were in carousel format)

A Natural Passion — And the Beginnings of Strategy

Of course, I don’t need a second to think if someone asks me what I’d do if I suddenly won the lottery or what I’d spend my money on. Without a doubt, I’d say: travel. It’s one of my greatest passions. And honestly, marketing and organizing have always been things I’ve been good at. But that doesn’t mean I had a clear vision of where this project would go back then, when it was just based on Instagram and Facebook.

However, it didn’t take long before a business strategy started to take shape in my mind—one that would give meaning and direction to the project, leading to new possible activities and opportunities.

A project with intention (and a bit of rebellion)

Let me tell you a little more about myself—and share an example to give you some context around the principles and philosophy that shape this project.

Even before defining any kind of clear strategy or tactics, I had a very strong sense of what this whole thing needed to revolve around.

I wanted to attract a certain kind of audience—people who are naturally curious, who enjoy asking why, who want to learn, grow, and be nourished. I wanted this to be a space for people with high standards, for those who expect more. I was always going to raise the bar above the usual. I wasn’t interested in the typical way of approaching the things we initially find “interesting.” I didn’t want to stay on the surface—I was here to scratch it, to go a little deeper.

Sometimes that would mean exploring less-traveled paths or offering a different take on a place—telling you something about it that you might not expect. That “off the beaten path” feeling has always spoken to me. It’s where the magical things happen, where the most beautiful stories unfold. That says a lot about who I am. I’ve always been drawn to the alternatives, to what lives outside the mainstream—in all kinds of ways.

Rooted in curiosity, shaped by rebellion

There’s another layer of me that shows up often—especially in the posts I share or the things I say in stories.

Sometimes I’ll press on a sore spot, say something that makes you think. I even question my own beliefs. I enjoy exploring perspectives that make me rethink what I’ve been taught, or what I thought I had already figured out.

That’s clearly linked to my rebellious nature—something that’s woven into every corner of my life. I’m a rebel and a nonconformist by default. I’m always learning to unlearn. That’s been my starting point, over and over again. And maybe also a point of inflection.

Curiosity, Connection, and the Willingness to Unlearn

I love to observe, to learn, and to respect without judgment. I’m also drawn to people who are the same way—those who step outside of conventions, who question the version of reality we’re constantly being sold.

You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve had to do just that throughout the development of this project: learning to unlearn, but especially learning to respect, to understand better, and to dismantle clichés. Often this came from digging deeper into a specific topic, or from conversations with people from very different cultures—trying to understand them, to truly empathize.

This is a project that has deeply nourished me as a person. Because when I get into something, I really get into it. And if something grabs me or sparks my curiosity—well, as we say in Spain, “apaga y vámonos.” Everything else stops. I focus. I go all in.
